Regional Flag

So what do you guys think of Imagey Nation's proposal to create a regional flag?

I wouldn't mind it, but then again perhaps a lack of flag denotes a more accepting paradise? Ay, go for it, though of course it depends on the design. Would it be like your logo on your post here, with the three stars? I would rather not have the clenched fist, it seems a bit confrontational? Or am I being rather namby-pamby as it were... it's not that confrontational, I suppose the fist is a socialist symbol. Anyway, I ramble too much- without a flag, all is still fine, with a flag, as long as we know what we are trying to represent then that is good too.

imagey nation, i believe, has volunteered to create the design. i would prefer to have something welcoming and accepting as well. i've always thought of us as a socialist paradise, with a lower case s.

Clenched fist is symbol of revolution not socialism. Clasped hands in mutual support is symbol of socialism.
Think a socialist paradise should have symbols of socialist ideals.

I agree with Otkyas at Kelmo. Of course, no flag would work, also.

I quite like the post logo myself. The five pointed star and the use of red in it is a must. I might not object to the fist though if a picture of comrade stalin appears I'm out.

Is flag, so should be simple for identification at distance or when small.
Colour or colours therefore most important.
Charges should be identifiable by shape not detail.
Charges should be few, so may be larger, easier seen.

Might also create regional seal, with more symbols and detail, if desired.

Since ideals include unity, mutual support and freedom, what might be symbols of these and other ideals for use in flag?
