using polls, either for some official or unofficial purpose, in threads. it is a quick way to take the temperature of the region, even those nations that don't wish to respond with a post.

Note that region does not have flag. Might there be poll to discover if such is desired and, if so, another to determine design?
Such might augment cohesion of region if citizens participate.

Have the tools and experience to create whatever design desired, if citizens want this.

i'd be down for a regional flag.

If that means you desire such, than start poll concerning desire for flag here and announce on RMB.
If most citizens desire it, then they will participate in subsequent discussion of design and poll for choice of design.
