| Chemo.. I have experienced it twice with people dear to me. My mother was given a 20% chance of survival with a brain tumor, survived, and went ona short course of chemotheropy. Usual stuff happened... hair loss, tiredness, and weakness, but she is now 90% ok, except from side effect of the actual operation. My friend Thelma, a very different case, she had cervical (to do with the womb) they funked up. They misdiognosed her. It wasn't cervical, it was on the intestines, spreading only slightly onto the womb. They took out her womb and oher bits, and chemoblasted the rest. After further research, they discovered it was on the intestines, so they cut a large portion of that out too, but decided she didn't need chemo a second time around, because it hasn't grown again, she has just started taking tablets, and doesn't feel like a woman at the moment, but her hair was cute when it began growing back, it was like a babys. May I ask what type of cancer your father has? Unfortunatly, I don't know of any men who have suffered with it. | |

| Good luck, Jesus, and best wishes. I've only known a couple, and they haven't been close, so I can't attest to the daily effects too closely, so I won't provide any input that way, but do some research, find some online help groups (if necessary), and that may help you with your search for info. On a lighter note, did I just sound like Dr. Phil? (Is he shown in other countries? I really hope he isn't...He drives me crazy!) | |

| My grandmother has cancer, though she isn't receiving chemo therapy. But, she is trying to hide it from everyone else though. | |
