right wingers in the socialist paradise

comrades, was there ever a consensus on how to handle the right wingers in our midsts? the way i see it, there are at least two questionable nations. i personally endorse giving them the boot!

I suggested doing something about it when I stood in the last election campaign, which was to give them a time limit within to become more left wing, or face the boot, but I was defeated by Chazz, who was against the idea.

If they aren't doing intentional harm to our ideals and region, then I say let 'em go. If they become a problem, then we should kick them out after trying to get them to change their positions.

This may be more problematic in NS2, so we may need to rethink about how to deal with them if it seems the changes put us at more risk.

i had long warned of the threat of the right-wing elitists, but was ignored. I still think that they should be given a set time to make reforms, and if they don't comply, we give 'em the boot.

sometimes the rules do have to be enforced, let's not forget that. if we are just going to let it slide for ns1, then i agree we must make an official understanding for ns2. i think it's a good idea for controversial nations to have a sort of probationary period, but do want to know for sure that should they stick to their conservative ways then they will be removed for good.

i'm concerned though that many in the region don't see them as potentially harming our ideals. you're either socialist or not, and by not supporting the socialist doctrine (i.e. letting corporations run a muck, trampling civil liberties, disregarding social welfare) you are in fact harming the ideals of socialism.

perhaps we will also need a universally agreed definition of socialism as well...

Well, I oppose summary expulsion from the region on the basis that our region as always served as a haven for those who had been persecuted elsewhere. I think it would be wrong for us to now turn and begin to oppress others for the same reason others had oppressed us(disagreeing with their world view).

Then this region should be called a reject paradise, not a socialist paradise. I don't think I can stay here any longer. Best of luck to you all.

It was set up as a haven for Socialists, yes, but I feel personally that we cannot begin to oppress other nations, given the history of the persecution of Socialists.

Maybe not here, but I feel they should not be allowed in NS2, due to regional secruity issues.
